About Me

I am a compassionate and engaging therapist. I have 36 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist (#21787), and Certified Addiction Specialist (#C-4020) I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the American Academy of Family Studies. My practice is located in Soquel, California.

I specialize in treating trauma, substance use disorders, and behavioral addictions such as sex, love, gambling, spending, and pornography. I also have expertise in treating ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and grief. 

I believe that educating people about the symptoms and treatment of mental health issues is a considerable step towards smashing stigmas, reducing shame, and helping people receive the treatment they deserve.  

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, riding my mountain bike, traveling, and photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
